Earth Healing Doll

This Cinnamon Tan colored healing doll is 8 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Her arms are a continuous loop of African Sand Beads that move along a her wire arms. Her hair is torn fabric and beads.  I create these vessels with the intention that they will help give the owner a way to express themselves in the many phases and tranistions during their life. They may be dressed and accessorized with found objects like sticks, driftwood, bones, stones and crystals or objects that have been given to the owner or inhereted that have profound and/or loving memories attached to them. My hope is that the doll/vessel will grow with them throughout their life and allow them to process joyful occassions as well as difficult ones.
